Rick embarked on his dog training journey during his tenure with the United States Air Force. His commitment to service offered him the chance to attend advanced training schools and collaborate with esteemed agencies such as the U.S. Marshals, DEA, and the Secret Service among others.
He brings not only a passion for training dogs, but also an enthusiasm for equipping owners with the knowledge needed for their pets to thrive. His expertise spans positive reinforcement, correction training, handler instruction, Schutzhund, protection training, and beyond.

Our Dog Training Services
Intro to Obedience
4-Sessions ($500.00)
Includes on-leash techniques, leash
manipulation, leash manners, house manners, etc.
Advanced Obedience
8-Sessions ($900.00)
Builds upon intro but moves into off-leash
training & commands, e-collar training, etc.
Intro to Protection
(Starting @ $1200.00)
Drive-building for protection, introduction to drive on command, biting on command, and bite & hold.
Protection Advancement
(Starting @ $1500.00)
Off-leash protection training,
situational/environmental training.
Protection Maintenance
(Starting @ $150.00)
Maintenance to ensure dog is performing protection at its peak trained potential.
Reactive/Aggressive Dog
(Starting @ $800.00)
Regaining control with a dog who is out of
control whether it's with people or other animals.
*Disclaimer:
No refunds on protection training. Not all dogs
can perform protection training, therefore buying from a reputable breeder is
one of many keys. Rick’s K9 will not train protection until the owner has
control of the dog both on & off-leash.
Protection training is a life-long commitment,
if you cannot commit then this is not for you or your dog.
